A basic beef gravy... sauce... broth... thing, that's tasty with some frozen meatballs. Make with some mash potatoes, asparagus, and corn bread for a hearty, tasty meal. [Work in progress: measurements are still being adjusted.]

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Great Value Frozen Meat Balls

  • 2 cups beef broth (2 boullion cubes)

  • 1 cup half-and-half

  • 1/2 tsp Season Salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 2 tbsp flour

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Pour the 2 cups of beef broth and the season salt into the meatballs and simmer the meatballs for ~30 min until fully heated throughout. Stir occassionally.

  2. Mix the flour and corn starch together in a bowl. Then mix them together with the heavy cream until thoroughly blended and smooth.

  3. Quickly pour cream mixture into heated meatballs and mix thoroughly for another 3-5 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
