The juciest recipe we have for homemade hamburgers. Quick and easy.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef (8-93% lean)

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 3 tbsp worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tbsp heavy cream

  • 3 tbsp Italian breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

  • 2 tsp garlic salt

  • 1 tsp seaoning salt

Instructions

  1. Line baking tray with parchment paper (for easier setup/clean-up).

  2. In a small bowl, combine all dry spices (breadcrumbs, black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic salt, seasoning salt) and stir until well mixed.

  3. Place ground beef in a large bowl. Pour on heavy cream, egg, and worcestershire sauce. Shake in dry season mixture, covering the meat evenly. Then using your hangs, blend the meat, wet ingredients and seasoning together.

  4. Once spices and wet ingredients have completely blended with the meat, separate out 8 evenly-sized balls (or 6, if you want large burgers). Flatten the balls until they are approx. 1/3-1/2in thick. Lay flattened patties onto the tray, on the parchment paper.

  5. OPTIONAL: Cover the tray with plastic wrap and set in the fridge for an hour to allow flavor to develop. If you do, take them out of the fridge at least 15 min before cooking.

  6. Lightly oil the grates of the grill before turning on. Heat grill to medium (~350-400°, grill temps may vary).

  7. Lay patties on grills and flip once every 4-5 min. Allow to cook 12-16 minutes. Time per side and total cook time will vary based on your grill. Internal temperature should be 160° before removing from grill.
