Tasty and super easy to make. Great to make with kids. Replace the semi-sweet chips with milk chocolate or dark chocolate to suit your tastes.
Ingredients
FOR THE BASE:
2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 3/4 of a pack)
1½ cups peanut butter
1½ cups powdered sugar
FOR THE TOPPING:
1½ semi-sweet chocolate chips
¼ peanut butter
Instructions
For the base, combine the graham cracker crumbs, peanut butter, and powdered sugar in a bowl. Use a pastry cutter to blend the ingredients.
Spread the mixture evenly in a 9 x 13" pan. You can use a 9 x 9 for thicker bars.
For the topping, melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter in a bowl by microwaving for 20s at a time, stirring in between. Optionally, you can use a double boiler method.
Pour the chocolate mixture over the base and spread evenly.
